Force Unleashed PSP Details Revealed

Thanks to an exclusive look from Pocket Gamer, we’ve got the lowdown on PSP exclusives and gameplay for Force Unleashed. The PSP version follows the same storyline as the console versions of Force Unleashed, but has several unique areas. These include a secret place in Cloud City, access to the Jedi Temple for training, and a bar on polluted metropolitan moon, Nar Shaddaa.

Blackman had more to say on the PSP iteration. “The Force Unleashed on PSP is designed to be pick-up-and-play.” By this he meant several quick-play modes the PSP version offers. Among these, Rule the Galaxy, Force Assassins, and Order 66 modes have been revealed.

Another feature mentioned was multiplayer. You are able to link up your PSP with three others to play.

The last unique feature mentioned was historic mission mode, where you can replay famous moments from the movies. One example would be the climactic battle between Darth Vader and Luke in Empire Strikes Back.

All these special features and unique content are being added by Krome studios. One would wonder if these features will remain PSP-exclusive, or if they will also be included in the PS2 and Wii versions of the game? Only time will tell.
