A new documentary has been put up where the developers talk about what makes each version of the game great.

We get to hear a lot of info about the Wii, PS2, PSP, and DS versions of the game. Check it out!

At GDC this year Haden Blackman, project lead for The Force Unleashed, held a very informative lecture in which he talked about LucasArts’ development priorities, revamping LA’s development studio, and what Force Unleashed almost was. Read the entire article at Gamespot.

Here’s a gameplay clip of lightsaber gameplay from gametrailers.com which was shown at GDC 2008.

GameInformer magazine got the chance to check out both the Xbox 360 and Wii versions of Force Unleashed at this years Game Developer’s Conference. And we learned a few new things about the game. The most interesting part was about the Wii version. A bit of the exclusive duel mode multiplayer was shown off and it is reported to feature over nine arenas and over twenty classic Star Wars characters. Before it sounded like the duel mode was only with characters from Force Unleashed, but with classic characters it makes the Wii version that much more enticing.

Variety Magazine has an article in their March issue that uncovers some things about The Force Unleashed. Most interestingly, the article states the game has a moment “almost as good as the “I am your father” moment from Star Wars: Episode V–The Empire Strikes Back.” Can’t get much more epic than that. The game is also supposed to have an unexpected amount of info on the birth of the Rebel Alliance.
