Tracksounds.com has reviewed the Force Unleashed musical score as well as interviewed the composer of the game’s score, Mark Griskey. Definitely check out these two articles as the music of The Force Unleashed sounds like it will rival the films’ music.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed includes an original score which was composed by Mark Griskey, who has previously composed the music for Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Make sure to tune in to SpikeTV tonight between the Star Wars movies (I’m guessing 8 PM EDT) for a big Star Wars gaming announcement. Tonight is the world television premier of Revenge of the Sith on SpikeTV and Attack of the Clones will rerun beforehand so make sure to tune in at 8 for a huge announcement. There is also supposed to be a big announcement on April 11 so make sure to keep your eyes open for that one too.
LucasArts has finally confirmed that The Force Unleashed will be released on September 16 for the US, September 17 for Southeast Asia and Australia, and September 19 in Europe.

LUCASARTS CONFIRMS FORCE UNLEASHED TO BE RELEASED ON PC
Upcoming next-gen game from LucasArts to ship for PC in 2008
SAN FRANCISCO, CA. — April 1, 2007 — Originally planned to be solely released for consoles and handheld platforms, the upcoming next-gen game being developed in-house by LucasArts, The Force Unleashed, has been confirmed by LucasArts to be released on PC shortly after its console version release in Q2 of 2008. This unexpected move has been reportedly due to extreme fan demand for a PC version.
“Originally the game was only going to be developed [by LucasArts] for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. But after enormous cry for a PC version, we have decided to begin development on the PC version of Force Unleashed,” said LucasArts President Jim Ward. When asked about euphoria and Digital Molecular Matter (DMM) being implemented on the PC, he responded, “While I don’t know all the technical specifications, it is my understanding that both euphoria and DMM will be able to run smoothly on the PC by 2008.”
“The game will be nearly identical on the PC to its console counterparts,” Ward reassured. “All PC games have their differences such as controls and this one is no different.”
The game will be shown at the Electronic Entertainment Exposition (E3) July 11-13, 2007, in Santa Monica, California.
