Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition has been confirmed to have trophy support for the PS3 version of the game, something the original game lacked. Look forward to having all the same bonuses Xbox 360 owners already had in the original game.

LucasArts has also released a trailer for the Ultimate Sith Edition of the game showing off the new levels. It features a voice over from the Emperor as you see the Apprentice in Sith Stalker armor wreaking havoc and fighting Obi-Wan, Luke, and Boba Fett.

The Ultimate Sith Edition of the game will be released as a special edition of the game to be released this holiday season. It will feature the currently available DLC as well as two new levels. Some of you may not believe me after my “horrible” April Fools prank a couple years ago, but if you don’t believe me, check the official LucasArts twitter feed. The Force Unleashed is coming to both PC and Mac, with an extra level based on Hoth. The game will be titled the “Sith Edition” and also be released for Xbox 360 and PS3. It is not clear whether the Hoth level will be separate DLC for those who have already bought the game. No word on a release date yet, or whether we will see a Steam release as the twitter post specifies “in stores”. Good news for all you PC people who can finally stop whining, but slightly underwhelming news for a “world exclusive announcement”.

It appears that more downloadable content is on the way for The Force Unleashed as new achievements have been added to the game. The below screenshot should do all the talking:

So an additional 120 points worth of achievements are showing up, including ones to defeat both Boba Fett and Obi-Wan! It also sounds like it will be based on Tatooine from each of the achievements.
